It seems to me like your twenties are meant to be your ‘grind’ years. You’re expected to basically set yourself up for the rest of your life – get an education, get a job, find a long-term partner, make big adult purchases, and SAVE.

I don’t know about you, but for now, the thought of that makes me want to run for the hills.

I found this quote on my twentieth birthday:

“Your 20’s are your selfish years – old enough to make the right decisions, and young enough to make the wrong ones. Be selfish with your time – travel, explore, fall in and out of love, be ridiculous and silly, stupid and wild. Be 20-something.”

This quote embodies the very essence of Travel in your Twenties.

What if I explored my other options? What would happen if I spent my entire twenties travelling the world, experiencing everything there is to experience?

The idea for TIYT was conceived in 2015, when I had the best year of my life: I studied abroad in two different countries: Italy and Canada. Although there was some serious study periods, the majority of the time I was out partying, travelling and having fun. It made me realise something: 20-somethings have more options than ever these days. Why not explore them?

Travel in your Twenties serves as a resource and community for young, like-minded 20-somethings:

  • To introduce you to new, unique parts of the world
  • To provide insightful experience from my extensive travels
  • To spark new ideas and explore various ways for you to travel in your twenties
  • & ABOVE ALL: To inspire you to find your passion and live a life you love.

I don’t know where I’m going from here, but it sure as hell isn’t going to be boring.

Let’s navigate the craziness of adulthood together.
